Chocolate Banana Protein Oatmeal Smoothie

Frozen banana makes it creamy, cocoa gives it a rich chocolate flavor, and oats add heartiness. It’s easy to customize and comes together in minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • 1/4 cup Ultimate Organic Super Seed Blend 
  • 2 tablespoons almond butter (or any nut/seed butter)
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop chocolate protein powder 
  • 1 large ripe banana, optional to have it frozen
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Small handful of ice (optional, for a colder/thicker texture)

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in your high powered blender -  milk, oats, almond butter, cocoa powder, banana, sea salt, cinnamon, protein powder, and ice (if using).
  2. Blend on high speed until completely smooth and creamy.
  3. Taste and adjust—add more milk if it’s too thick, or a date or bit of maple syrup if you want extra sweetness.
  4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately.
